Useless circles

Published on:

had a visit yesterday and we talked about intentional communities and human to human communication and I realized that in society we do not talk that much, not meaningfully, because we do not know, realy know, each other.

So alongside all the “necessary” circles that sociocratic community has, we will also have many “unnecessary” circles.
Men and women circles that can have outside guests.
Philosophy circle where we can share what we discovered while reading a book or news article, while listening to a podcast or radio, while we watched a movie or documentary.
Critical circle where we invite people from outside the circle to raise fresh and “out of the box” points of view.

And since we want to share with the society and neighboring villages we can have “open community day” when we invite guest to share a meal, our ideas, show them what we work on and the grounds.
