Why do i want an intentional community?

Published on:

Roumania has zero intentional communities at this moment. I chose to start a fire to bring people together, to create a different path forward, to give a choice to people that aer looking for an alternative.

I wrote a charter (that you can find in the menu above) to set up a framework in order to be able to start a conversation and to cocreate the community that we dream about. Of course it is theoretical and lacks a personal touch since, we and not me, are going to give caracter, personality, color to this endeavour.

I have been living in this forest since 2018. I have found happiness and contempt, enjoy solitude, i am a jack of all trades. I am home. So why do i want to complicate my life with an intentional community? What is my angle and what kind of intentional community i want to be involved in?

Is an issue of sustainability. Projects like mine are everywhere, young people that do not resonate with city life and values. But every startup is like a small island in the middle of a great ocean. And as any ocean it will have waves and one day a small island may be wiped out. Also solitude is fine when you are young and receive volunteers but 50 years into the future solitude will be onlines and loneliness kills. I want to live a healthy social life and i want the end of my story to be here in a natural environment.

The pros of intentional communities are people. The cons of intentional communities are people. So if i am to complicate my life with such a great endeavour, i want to do it with people that i share a common purpose, people that want to give something to the world and not to hide from it, people that want to inspire because they understand that we are not many but one.

So,
you are my people if money is not a purpose but a tool, if ownership is just a social construct and not something that you seek, if private property is non existent while personal property is something you enjoy.
You are my people if building with natural and local materials is a priority, if healthy self produced food is a must, if land stewardship is not a poch word.
You are my people if you seek deep relationships, if you deal in reason and communication and not hearsay, if you value permanent learning, if you believe nature can be your teacher.
You are my people if children are part of the community and the key to a better future, if you believe that all ages have something to bring to the table, if regardless of spirituality or culture we are all welcome.
